With Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown both averaging over 26 points per game, the Boston Celtics continue to start two of the top NBA DFS players. On Friday night in Portland, Tatum finished with 34 points and 12 rebounds while Brown had 27 points, six rebounds, and five assists. They are competing for the top seed in the Eastern Conference and have won four of their previous five games. Should you take exhaustion into account before constructing your NBA DFS lineups since they have five games remaining on their road trip when they play Utah on Saturday night?
This month, the Jazz have lost four of six games in which they have given up at least 110 points. How should you approach Tatum and Brown with your NBA DFS plan since they are two of the most expensive possibilities in the player pool on websites like DraftKings and FanDuel? Check out SportsLine’s Mike McClure’s NBA DFS tips, player rankings, stacking, and best daily fantasy basketball picks before making any NBA DFS selections on Saturday.
DFS expert McClure has earned almost $2 million in career winnings. He also works at SportsLine as a predictive data engineer, using a potent prediction model that replicates every second of every game 10,000 times, accounting for matchups, statistical trends, and injuries.
This enables him to identify the top NBA DFS values and build ideal lineups, which he then publishes exclusively at SportsLine. For every NBA DFS player, they are a must-see.
Joel Embiid, a center for the Philadelphia 76ers, was one of McClure’s top NBA Daily Fantasy picks on Friday. Embiid scored 38 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and provided five assists. As a consequence, he earned 69.75 points on DraftKings and 70.1 points on FanDuel. Everyone who had him in their lineups had a good chance of having a successful day.

Top NBA DFS picks for Saturday, March 18
Grizzlies point guard Tyus Jones ($6,900 on DraftKings, $6,500 on FanDuel) is one of McClure’s best NBA DFS selections for this Saturday. On Friday night, he recorded his first triple-double of the year, finishing with 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists in the victory. Due to Ja Morant’s ban, Jones was inserted into the starting lineup, and he has flourished in it.
In his seven games as a member of the starting lineup, he has averaged 16.9 points, 7.7 assists, and 4.7 rebounds. A few weeks ago, during a game against the Clippers, Jones set a personal best for a quarter by scoring 20 points in the third quarter. With Morant out of commission, his expanded role gives him an excellent value in the NBA DFS player pool.
McClure’s ideal NBA DFS approach also calls for rostering Grizzlies SG/SF. Desmond Bane (DraftKings: $7,400; FanDuel: $8,400). Especially with Morant out, he has been one of the team’s most reliable scoring possibilities. Bane led the victory at San Antonio on Friday night with 21 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and three steals.
His increasing output is one reason to include him in NBA DFS teams on Saturday even though he needed 22 shots to score 21 points. Bane has scored at least 20 points in four of his previous five games, averaging 20.8 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.3 assists in March. He is playing one of the league’s weakest defenses that has been particularly terrible on the road, making Bane a solid choice in the NBA DFS player pool.
